The historic fortress of Shlisselburg – also known as Oreshek by Russians and Noteborg by Swedes – occupies an island in Lake Ladoga at the head of the River Neva. This was once a vital strategic location for russians. In 2016 a huge district that includes Oreshek fortress and other suburbs around Saint-Petersburg are going to be renovated. New bike tours, information offices and even new museum complexes will occur. New logo is a modern interpretation of fortress's map: lake with two embankments and an island in the center of it. Colorful lines from the logo were restructured into the serie of icons, that occur on printed materials and navigation system.
